Specijalna bolnica za oftalmologiju IRIS (formerly Očna kuća IRIS) has operated in Čačak since April 1994, becoming a registered specialist ophthalmology hospital in December 2018. Located at Kralja Petra Prvog 26, the hospital has from its founding applied the latest technological achievements in diagnostics and treatment of eye diseases and refractive conditions in children and adults Surgical services — performed in collaboration with a specialist surgical team from Belgrade — include phacoemulsification cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, and strabismus correction. Diagnostic capabilities include biomicroscopy, computerised refraction, intraocular pressure measurement, visual field testing, OCT, HRT, digital funduscopy, ultrasound, pachymetry and corneal topography.
