Poliklinika za oftalmologiju Sveta Lucija is a specialist ophthalmology polyclinic that has operated in central Rijeka since 1996, located at Adamićeva 13, 1st floor. It is the clinical arm of Ghetaldus Rijeka and forms part of the nationwide Ghetaldus Poliklinika network — Croatia's largest private ophthalmology group with 19 specialist ophthalmologists and 20 nurses, operating in multiple cities Services range from standard ophthalmological examinations (visual acuity, intraocular pressure, biomicroscopy, fundus) to specialist subspecialty care. The clinic has a dedicated retinology unit and laser cabinet (diode photocoagulation laser for diabetic retinopathy, macular oedema and retinal ruptures, with fluorescein angiography) and performs minor surgical procedures on the eye and eyelids under local anaesthesia (chalazion, cysts, lipomas, skin excess, eyelid position disorders). Contact lens fitting and a full optical product range are also available.
