Oftalmološka poliklinika Dr Balog is the leading ophthalmology polyclinic in Osijek, located at I. Gundulića 36b in the city centre. Founded by Slaven Balog, MD, the clinic is a teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, employing a team of ophthalmology specialists and subspecialists. Visiting consultant Prof. Ferenc Kuhn — president of the International Society for Eye Trauma, former president of the American Society for Eye Trauma, and US/Hungarian professor of ophthalmology — operates at the clinic. The clinic is the only institution in Croatia to use the Heidelberg SPECTRALIS OCT device
